At the heart of our brand lies a deep commitment to sustainability and our environment. We believe that exceptional tea should not come at the expense of our planet. That's why we've dedicated significant time and effort to researching and collaborating with like-minded businesses to ensure that every aspect of our product is environmentally responsible.
Our tea bags are a testament to our dedication to sustainability. They are completely biodegradable, including the strings and tags, and are free from glues and microplastics. To further reduce our environmental footprint, our tea bags and loose leaf teas are packaged in NatureFlex™ bags. These bags are made from a biodegradable and compostable cellophane film derived from renewable cellulose fibre. Certified biodegradable by Australian Standards AS 5810, NatureFlex™ bags can be composted at home, decomposing in approximately 15 weeks once exposed to the elements.
To ensure the freshness and quality of our teas, the sealed NatureFlex™ bags are housed inside eco-friendly Kraft pouches. These pouches are made of 200gsm Kraft card with a clear, compostable Polylactic Acid (PLA) window that showcases our product beautifully.
In addition to our kraft packs, we also offer our teas in elegant silver and Australiana tins. Our tea is first sealed within a NatureFlex™ bag before being packed into our tins to maintain optimal freshness and quality. These tins are designed for reuse, making them perfect for refilling with our larger tea quantities. Larger tea quantities are packaged in REDcycle bags, supporting a soft plastics recycling initiative.

Our tree planting initiative through regional Victorian business Fifteen Trees illustrates our commitment to giving back to our community and the environment. For every purchase made over $85, we contribute to the planting of trees, helping to restore local ecosystems and create a greener future. We also donate tea to local tree planting days (Northern Bendigo Landcare Group), for the wonderful volunteers working towards making our surroundings more beautiful and sustainable.
